An image scanned from a color postcard depicting the pier at Old Orchard Beach in Old Orchard, Maine. Undated.
The pier was constructed in 1898 at a cost if $38,000. The casino at its end was razed in 1970 and the rest of the original pier was destroyed in the Blizzard of 1978.
The current pier was constructed in 1980.
