Comments

Included in the PDF is a scan of Bean's typed transcription of this letter. A modern transcription has been included for the benefit of the researcher.

The only really difference between the letter and Bean's transcript is the addition of a couple words which Bean left as question marks, as at that point of the letter there was some slight damage obscuring those words.
