Abstract/ Summary
A scanned version of a pamphlet that provided the constitution for the State of Maine Agricultural and Industrial League published in 1917. The object of the league was to a) bring about cooperation between producer and consumer in the marketing of farm products and encourage and assist in the advancement and development of agriculture and rural life, b) create, through publicity, a wider knowledge of the natural resources of the state of Maine and aid in their development, c) aid in the development of hotel interests and tourist traffic, and d) aid in securing the economical production and distribution of foods and other farm products, providing Maine grown food for the people of the state.
