Description
Black and white finish line action photo of the first heat of the 2.14 Trot on the second day of the Western Maine Agricultural Exposition, Gorham, Maine, August 1932. Horses in the photo (left to right), are Fanny Volo, Duet, and Gwendolyn Audbry.
On the platform in the background a number of gentlemen including members of Hanson's Orchestra and at least three men wearing U.S. Navy uniforms. Also visible are banners advertising future races. The photograph is signed by Guy Kendall in India ink in the lower-left corner.
