Sepia tone photograph of bay gelding Ray posing in the back stretch, owner/driver F. M. Burke up. Wearing saddle number 12, Ray won three straight heats in an elimination round of the 2.22 Trot at the Western Maine Agricultural Exposition, Gorham, Maine, August 1932. The race program states it was the Centennial Year of the annual agricultural fair. The photo is mounted inside the race program.
