Description
Sepia tone photograph of American Standardbred horse, Wanita with an unidentified trainer signaling with his hand to keep her head lifted for the portrait. The sheds of a race facility can be seen in the background but Kendall does not identify the location. Photograph is mounted to the interior back cover of the race program for the Western Maine Agricultural Exposition, Gorham, Maine, August 1932 but Wanita is not noted as a participant in either of the two days of competition.
