Short up, approaching the finish line for The Abnaki 2.16 Trot at the Centennial celebration of the Skowhegan Fair on Friday, August 19, 1938. Noontime claimed the first place finish in all three heats of the contest. Photographer Guy Kendall did not identify which of the three heats was captured in the image.
