Black and white action photo of the field of horses approaching the finish line in the 2.08 Trot and Pace at Shapleigh-Acton Fair in Union Park, Acton, Maine on Thursday, September 2, 1937. Bay gelding, Hanover Mascot, Haddock up, won the first heat of the contest. John Rowland crossed the finish in second place. McKinney Volo showed in third followed by Walter Princeton and Volunteer. Hanover Mascot set a new track record of 2.08 3/4 for trotters.
