Sepia tone action photo of future Harness Racing Hall of Fame Immortal, bay gelding, Little Pat, H. Small up, claiming the first of three heats in the Junior Free for All Pace at Skowhegan Fair, Skowhegan, Maine, Friday, August 20, 1937. As a four-year-old, Little Pat already claimed a top time of 1.59 1/4 but would go on to shave a full second of that time for a life-time record of 1.58 3/4 in 1938. Little Pat won 73 out of 104 races in his career, retiring in 1943. Other horses in this field include Calumet Calling, Symbol Green and Zombro Hanover.
