Description
Sepia tone action photo of the finish of the third race of the Friday, July 23, 1937 Grand Circuit Meet at the 1 Mile Kite Track at Old Orchard Beach, Maine. The race was the second heat of the 2.18 Class Trot in which bay stallion, Hanover Peters, wearing head number two, pulled away from Calumet Dilworthy, wearing head number one, to take the heat. Pedro Tipton finished in a distant third place.
