Sepia tone photograph of bay colt Ed Lasater winning one of two heats from future Hall of Famer, bay filly, Rosalind during The National Stake race for three year olds at the Old Orchard Beach 1 Mile Kite Track, Maine, Wednesday, July 29, 1936. Ed Lasater and Rosalind finished one-and-two in the first two heats of the race. Rosalind finished first in the final heat of the contest while Ed Lasater fell back to fourth place.
