Black and white portrait of bay mare, pacer Polly Peters, Carney up, in the backfield during the first day of racing in the Western Maine Agricultural Exposition at the Cumberland County Fair Trotting Park in Gorham, Maine, August 1934. Polly Peters came in sixth in the Press Herald 2.14 Pace. The black and white photo is signed in the lower left corner by the photographer Guy Kendall.
