Abstract
The official race program for the Opening Meeting of the Pine Tree Circuit on Saturday, June 28, 1941 at the Maine State Fair Grounds in Lewiston, Maine. The cover of the program includes the names of the race day officials as well as officers of the All Maine Racing Association. The card also lists the field of horses for the Daily Double, the post time of the first race and a preview of the next day's program.
Inside the program are handwritten notes by Guy Kendell about finishing times, the order of finish in each contest, changes in the field of horses and pencil notations of any bets he placed and winnings he received. The final panel of the program summarizes the rules for Mutuel betting.
