The official race program for the Gorham Fair harness races, Friday, August 8, 1941 at Narragansett Park on the Gorham, Maine fair grounds.
The program includes a list of race officials including Starter Edwin T. Keller of Cincinnati, Ohio; Presiding Judge Dr. John Stevens of Rochester, New Hampshire; Judges Glenn W. Rublee of Vermont and V. S. Keller of Hatfield, Massachusetts; Timers Walter Frank of Portland, Maine and Elmer J. Leighton of Cumberland, Maine. Mutuels Director Frank R. Witman, Portland, Maine. Steward representing Maine Racing Commission, Albert E. Gibbons of Cape Elizabeth, Maine. The names of Maine Racing Commission officers include Miles B. Mank, Portland; Harold O. Pelley, Skowhegan; and William A Lumb, Biddeford.
Inside the program are handwritten notes by Guy Kendell about finishing times, the order of finish in each contest, changes in the field of horses. The final panel of the program summarizes the rules for Mutuel betting.
