Abstract
The official race program for the Cumberland Farmers' Club Early Race Meet on Friday, July 11, 1941. The cover of the program includes a list of racing officials including Starting Judge Lawrence Haddock; Presiding Judge Dr. H. S. Irish; Associate Judges Edwin T. Keller and Spinney Keller; and Timers Howard Dyer and Fred Perkins. The names of Maine Racing Commission officers included on the program are Miles B. Mank, Portland; Harold O. Pelley, Skowhegan; and William A Lumb, Biddeford. The Director of Mutuels is Frank R. Witman.
Inside the program are handwritten notes by Guy Kendell about finishing times, the order of finish in each contest, changes in the field of horses and pencil notations of any bets he placed and winnings he received. The final panel of the program summarizes the rules for Mutuel betting.
