Abstract

The official race program for the Cumberland Over-Coat Meet on Thursday, November 3, 1938 at the Cumberland Harness Racing Track, West Cumberland, Maine. The program includes the names of race day officials and a summary of the Daily Double on the front cover. The final panel of the card includes information about rules for the Daily Double and Pari-Mutuel betting. The program also includes Guy Kendall's notes on changes in the race lineups, including the finish times. Kendall also made notes of the amount of his bets in each race with the dollar amount bet listed in the top left corner of each race card and his winnings noted in the upper right corner.
