Abstract

The official race program for the Wednesday, September 15, 1937 for the Oxford County Agricultural Races put on by the Oxford County Agricultural Society. The program includes the names of the race day officials and a display ad for the "Voice of Maine" public address systems sales and rentals by Royal Amusement Co., Inc. in Auburn, Maine.

Races for the day included the Pine Tree Pace for two-year-olds featuring the filly, Gracious Lady out of the Sullivan-Mawhinney stables in Machias, Maine and bay colt, Gratton Dale, out of the Reed Stables in Fort Fairfield.

The race card includes photographer Guy Kendall's handwritten notes about changes in race lineups and race finishes, as well as notations about payouts for bets he placed on various races.
