Abstract

The 8-page, Official Race Program for the Friday, September 3, 1937 Shapleigh-Acton Fair in Acton, Maine. The program includes the names of those serving on the Union Park Trotting Association, Inc. board as well as race day officials. Photographer Guy Kendall made handwritten notes inside the program recording race finishes and times as well as changes in the field of horses. Kendall trimmed down the program to fit in the photo album, causing some race information as well as advertising to be lost.
