Abstract

The official race program for the Friday, August 13, 1937 Gorham Fair Races at the Cumberland County Fairgrounds. The program includes the name of race officials and the name of the chairman of the Maine Racing Commission. Pari-mutuel betting was operated under the supervision of the Maine Racing Commission. Rules for the Daily Double races are also recorded on the program. The program also includes photographer Guy Kendall's handwritten notes on race finishes and times, as well as changes in the race line up.
