Abstract
ANNA LOG: STUMPED is a thesis investigating contemporary modes of popular music, the American obsession with celebrity culture and female identity within in a traditionally male field, through methods art including music, performance and installation. This thesis describes the methodology and concepts behind Anna Log, a conceptual pop star, a 6 song Pop album called STUMPED, and a thematic stage installation.
