Abstract
A Lamentation in Blue and White is a collection of poems (including a statement of poetics from the author) written between September 2006 and February 2008 that includes two multi media files: an audio tribute reading of two poets' work and a film stemming from the anchor poem of this collection. This collection is intended to reflect the growth of a poet's perspective on the language of poetry and the language of the world around him which, through technology and advertising, has become more prominent in everyday life in most corners of the world.
