Project Abstract/ Summary
This program brings three distinguished editors of leading journals to campus to discuss the scholarly publishing process: Robert Wilson of Phi Beta Kappa's The American Scholar, Stephen Depoe of Environmental Communication, and R. Brooks Hanson of Science. Each will give a public lecture and Q&A session in the Stodder Hall Graduate Commons on the scholarly publishing process in (respectively) humanities, social science, and science. Although intended primarily for graduate students and faculty, these events will be free, open to the public, and widely advertised. CETA will assist in organizing and advertising. The events will take place at 4 pm on three sequential Mondays (March 26, April 2, April 9,2012).
