Project Abstract/ Summary
With this conference, we are looking to bring together older Franco Americans already active in their communities with young people interested in learning about Franco American culture and history. While individual youth might pursue his/her family's cultural history, oftentimes public cultural heritage work is the realm of older Franco Americans. This conference will provide a public space bring young people together to explore what it means to be Franco American today.
