Project Abstract/ Summary
The Music division will host Colonel Michael Colburn of the "Presidents Own" United States Marine Band in April 2011. He will conduct the UMaine Symphonic Band and the Concert Band at the April 5th concert for these ensembles at the Collins Center for the Arts. He will also teach a masterclass ln the Class of I 944 Hall for K-12 area teachers on April 2nd, in which the workshop participants will conduct the UMaine Symphonic Band and will be critiqued by Col. Colbum.
