Description

Image scanned from black and white interpositive labeled "Abbott, Mrs. Arthur Interiors." This severely damaged photograph depicts an elegant living room. A lovely rug covers much of the wooden floor. There is a polished round wooden table in the center of it, which bears a long runner, several books, a metal box, and a bowl of apples. There is a fireplace just visible on the left side of the image, with a very ornate candlestick on the mantel. There is also an armchair, placed alongside a small table covered in what appears to be magazines. A long, cushioned windowseat is on the right of the photograph.
