Image scanned from black and white negative labeled "Katahdin from Daicey Pond." A smooth lake spreads across the foreground of this image, broken only by two boulders and a wooden dock or raft. A sort of seesaw affair is attached to the end of the dock. The far shore of the lake is well-wooded, and mountains rise beyond the forest.
