Description
Image scanned from black and white negative labeled "Man Poling from Canoe." A note under the title reads, "[incorrect, he is fishing]." And indeed, this man, standing in a canoe on a smooth lake, holds what appears to be a fishing pole in both hands. He wears a hat, and smokes a pipe. Two more canoes, their bottom upturned, lie on the rocky shore, and a wooden dock extends into the water. The far shore is well wooded, and there are low hills in the distance.
